Changing the Name of a File

You can change all or part of a file specification of one or
more existing files by using the Rename command. You can
also rename a group of files in one operation.

You cannot use the Rename command to change the device
name on which a file is located.

When you rename a file, a copy of that file no longer exists
  under its original name.
