    type          longword (unsigned)
    access        read only
    mechanism     by reference
    Identifier of the semaphore. The semaphore-id argument is the
    address of an unsigned longword containing the identifier.

    Semaphore-id is returned by PPL$CREATE_SEMAPHORE.
