EVE$KEYHELP.HLB  —  Page Left
  Page Left Motif function key

Shifts the current window to the left by an entire window width.

This does not shift text in the buffer, but only the horizontal position
of the window relative to the buffer, so you can view the undisplayed
portion of very wide text, such as lines 100 characters long, without
having to widen the EVE screen.

  Key: CTRL/E5 Motif function key

  Usage notes:

o This key has no visible effect unless you shifted the window to the
right by using SHIFT RIGHT, or by pressing the Motif function key
     CTRL/E6.

o You cannot shift the window left beyond column 1.

o On DECwindows, you can shift the window to the left by clicking M1 to
the left of the thumb in the horizontal scroll bar---see help on Scroll
     Bars.

o Motif function keys are on by default on DECwindows.
