Use the File menu on the editable source window as follows:

  Action      Function
  ------      --------

  New         Opens a buffer for a new file.

  Open...     Opens a buffer for an existing file.

  Save        Saves the current buffer using same file name.

  Save As...  Saves the current buffer using specified file name.

  Close       Closes the editable source window.
