Use the File menu on the optional view window as follows:

  Action               Function
  ------               --------

  Close                Closes the optional view window.

  Exit Debug?          In the kept debugger, ends the
                       debugging session, and exits the
                       debugger.  In client-server mode,
                       allows you to exit the client,
                       server, or both.
