Creating new versions of files while restoring files
When you restore a save set, you may restore a file into a directory
in which a file of the same name already exists. If you know that
the files on the save set are the files you want to be the latest
version on the disk volume, then turn on the "Create New File
Versions" option.
If you do not turn on the "Create New File Versions" option and a
file-name conflict occurs, the file is not restored and an
informational message is displayed.
You can save this attribute in a template. For more information
about templates, see "Using Templates" in the "Concepts ..." help
topic.
