For example, if you have specified a .SPACING value of two lines and you enter .SKIP without an n value, DSR will insert two blank lines (the .SPACING value). If you enter .SKIP 2, DSR will insert four blank lines (2 times the .SPACING value), and so on. -n Specifies that the next line of text be pushed to within n lines of the bottom of the current page by the insertion of blank lines. Every line but the last one retains the line spacing (.SPACING value) that follows it.
