/sys$common/syshlp/SHWCLHELP.HLB  —  SCROLL
The SCROLL command allows you to quickly scan through a large window
without changing the current selection of information. The window must
either be selected or be the only window in the display. The window can be
scrolled vertically or horizontally by a specific number of lines or fields.
When the window scrolls, the header remains stationary. The left, right, and
bottom border lines, as well as lines that separate fields where the lines
join the header portion of the window, indicate in which direction the window
has been scrolled. Pertinent information may not be currently visible.

Formats: SCROLL UP value SCROLL LEFT value
SCROLL DOWN value SCROLL RIGHT value

If AUTO_POSITIONING is turned ON, other windows on the screen can be
repositioned as the selected window is scrolled. The arrow keys can be
redefined as SCROLL commands. For more information see help on SET FUNCTION.
