/sys$common/syshlp/NCLHELP.HLB  —  synchronize
This command causes the DECdts process to initiate a synchronization
on the specified system. If the synchronization is successfully
completed, the system clock is adjusted or set to the new computed
time. This command overrides the functions of the synchronization
hold down characteristic. NOTE: The synchronize command does not
execute unless the entity is in the on state.

synchronize [node node-id] dtss [set clock true]

    Examples:

    synchronize dtss

    synchronize dtss set clock true

    Set Clock

Specifies whether the clock is immediately set or gradually adjusted
to the computed time. This argument is optional.

false The clock is gradually adjusted. This is the default.

true The clock is immediately set.
