/ESCAPE_CHARACTER=character

    Optional. Default: Tilde (~).

    RSH escape character. This character lets you exit the RSH
    process without entering the remote host's typical logout
    sequence, such as LOGOUT or Ctrl/D.

    Typing the escape character and a period (.) breaks the
    connection with the remote host. For example:

    remote> ~. (characters not echoed)
