NCPHELP.HLB  —  CONNECT  VIA
Use the CONNECT VIA command to set up a logical connection between
the host node and the console interface on a target node using the
specified circuit. Use the CONNECT VIA command instead of the CONNECT
NODE command if the node address of the target node is not known. Both
the host node and the target node must be on the same broadcast circuit.

 CONNECT VIA circuit-id (parameters ...)

All underscores found in parameters must be replaced with spaces
when parameters are used in NCP commands.

1  –  Examples

      NCP>CONNECT VIA UNA-0 PHYSICAL ADDRESS AA-00-04-00-38-00

This command connects the host node to the console interface
on the target node by specifying the circuit over which the
connection is to be made and the physical address of the
          target node.

2  –  PHYSICAL ADDRESS

Specifies the physical address of the target node. This parameter is
required. The value is the physical address the target node has set
 for itself.

3  –  SERVICE PASSWORD

Identifies the password required to create the logical link between
the host node and the target node. The password is a hexadecimal
number in the range 0 to FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
