Typing and Formatting Text

  After you give the Notepad editor window input focus, you
  can type text from the keyboard.  The Notepad editor enters
  the text at the position marked by the text insertion cursor.

  Use the Tab key, the space bar, and the Return key to
  arrange text in the Notepad editor window as you want it to
  appear.
