  Day View Timebars

The Day view contains two timebars: one to the left of the
timeslots, and the other to the right of the vertical scroll bar.

The diagonal shading indicates nonworking hours. The short
break in the middle represents the lunch hour (which you
can adjust). Darker shading indicates the presence of a
  calendar entry.

The right-hand timebar, which is the Workday timebar,
represents a condensed (all 24 hours) view of working and
nonworking hours and calendar entries for the displayed day.

The left-hand timebar, which is the Working Hours timebar,
corresponds directly to your Day view.
