Purge & Rename Settings
The data file SMiC_DATA: PURGEENRENAME.DAT contains the following fields:

  1. The file specification of the file to be monitored.
A complete file name must be entered here, without version number.

  1. The status of this monitoring.
Active:       the specified file is actively monitored.
Notactive: the specified file is not monitored.

  1. The number of versions to keep.
The purge command ensures that a certain number of versions of a file remain. The number of files that must be saved is determined by this value. If the value 0 is specified, the default value is used.
