Batch job monitoring settings
The data file SMiC_DATA: BATCHJOBS.DAT contains the following fields:
- The name of the batch job to be monitored.
- The batch queue in which this batch job has to be executed.
If the batch queue for a job does not have to be monitored, an "*" can be entered here.
- The time interval in which this batch job must be monitored.
The batch job monitoring can be switched on and off per hour.
This can be chosen when entering and / or changing the batch job to monitor
by selecting the hours on which monitoring should be performed.
- The days on which the batch job monitoring is active.
There are three possibilities here:
- Always active.
- Only active on working days.
- Active only on weekends.
- Recovery procedure for this batch job.
If the batch job is no longer present in the system, SMiC can repair this by submitting the batch job again.
A recovery procedure must then be provided for this.
