CPU Usage monitoring Settings
The CPU monitor procedure monitors the specified processes on CPU usage.

The CPU monitor procedure reads in the file SMiC_DATA: MONITORPROCESSCPU.DAT which processes have a custom monitoring, and what the limit value for the CPU usage is. For processes that are not included in the SMiC_DATA: MONITORPROCESSCPU.DAT file, the default values are used.

If the CPU usage is too high, the specified action is performed.

This can be sending a message, but also sending a message and then stopping the process.

A wildcard (* only) can also be entered as the process name.

Example:

Process name: WASD_ *
All processes that start with WASD_ are then monitored with the specified settings.

A wildcard may be used at the beginning of the name or at the end of the name.
