more surely than sure
The messaging system from SMiC sends system messages to multiple mail addressess.
The menu option Notifications configuration can be used to maintain these addresses.
First an adres has to be made.
This address has the following items:
- Name
- Mail address
- Language
- Direct link
- The name is the primary key to the messaging system.
- The mail address is the address where the messages are send to.
- When creating a new name for the messaging system it is possible to use an excisting SMiC user account for the name, mail address and language. Default a direct link will be created between the SMiC user account, and the messaging account. When changing the mail address or language from one off these accounts, this will make a change in the linked account. When this is not desirable, it is possible to disable this link.
To receive SMiC system messages, the messaging account has to configured, This has to be done for every node and every sub-system.
A sub-system is for example: "backup messages" or "disk messages".
