Logical Volume Name
When a disk is mounted, a system logical is created, the Logical Volume Name.

The Logical Volume Name of an NFS disk can only be adjusted by first dismounting the disk and then mounting it with the desired Logical Volume Name.

To prevent mistakes, this cannot be done using the SMiC web procedures.

Changing the Logical Volume Name of an NFS disk can be done as follows:

Change the disk data file SMiC_data: disks.dat and change the Logical Volume Name to the desired value.

Dismount the NFS disk: @SMiC_root: [com] controldisks dismount DNFS<number nfs disk>:
