Disk label
Every disk has a label. The label is used to identify the disk, therefore common labels are: DATA, SYSTEM, DEVELOPMENT etc.

The label of a NFS disk can only be changed by dismounting the disk, and then to mount the disk with the new label name.

To prevent mistakes this can't be done using the SMiC web procedures.

To change the label of a NFS disk do the following:

Change the disk data file SMiC_DATA:DISKS.DAT and put the new label in for the NFS disk.
If necessary adjust the "logical volume name".
Dismount the NFS disk: @SMiC_root:[com]controldisks dismount DNFS<number nfs disk>:
And mount the NFS disk: @SMiC_root:[com]controldisks mount DNFS<number nfs disk>:
