Recovery in case of problems: Do a conversational boot, set the system parameter NOAUTOCONFIG to 1, boot VMS, and remove the product with PRODUCT REMOVE VTDSK. Then set NOAUTOCONFIG to 0 and reboot. This release supports VMS version V6.2-1H3 and higher. AVTware virtual disks can not be used as a boot device in V6.2-1H3, higher versions do not have this restriction. Make sure that the latest PCSI kit has been installed, especially for VMS versions before V7.3-2. This kit will also install on the VSI version of OpenVMS V8.4-2 and higher. VTDSK V1.1 or higher is mandatory for use on the wildfire backplane. New options in this version are the ability to control the hostname and allocation class per controller.
