1  –  Argument

 x

    A radian expressed as a real number.

2  –  Description

    The cot functions return the cotangent of their argument,
    measured in radians.

    The cotd functions return the cotangent of their argument,
    measured in degrees.

    x = 0 is an invalid argument.

3  –  Return Values

    x                  The cotangent of the argument.
    HUGE_VAL           Indicates that the argument is zero; errno is
                       set to ERANGE.
