Opening a Book from the Command Line (Tru64 UNIX)

You can start Bookreader and open a book directly from the
  command line.

To open a book from the command line on Tru64 UNIX,
start Bookreader and specify the book name as the first
argument to the dxbook command. For example,

  % /usr/bin/dxbook /usr/lib/X11/dxbook/filename.decw_book &

Alternatively, you can specify a bookshelf file to open. For
  example,

  % /usr/bin/dxbook /usr/lib/X11/dxbook/filename.decw_bookshelf &

If you supply a path that is invalid, Bookreader tries to
open the default library file, as pointed to by the DECW_
BOOKSHELF environment variable, in the locations speci-
fied by the DECW_BOOK environment variable. See online
help or the book Managing Bookreader Libraries and Books
  for more information.

For a full list of Bookreader commands and qualifiers on

Tru64 UNIX, enter the following command:

  % man dxbook
