               To set access control on a directory:

                 1 Double-click on the icon of the directory that you want to
                   set access control on, and display the detail window for the
                   entry.
                 2 Click on the Access Control Set Editor button and display the
                   Access Control Set Editor showing access control information
                   for that entry.

                 3 Click on the Locked button, which changes to Editable, indi-
                   cating that changes to the rights and flags can be made.

                 4 Set the rights. To see a summary of access rights for di-
                   rectories and a description of the operations they enable a
                   principal to perform, double-click on the hotspot.

                 5 Set the flags. To see more information about the P and G
                   flags, double-click on the propagate or group hotspots.

                      Propagate   Group

                 6 Click on the Editable button. The button reverts to Locked,
                   indicating that you have completed your changes.

                 7 When done, click on the OK button to accept the changes and
                   close the window.

               Double-click on the icon to your left to try another exercise or,
               when done, click on the Close button below.
