Running Programs When you use the Run Command to run a program, you execute the machine instructions in the program image. A program usually has an EXE file type. You can also use the Run command to invoke a DCL command file, which has a COM file type. To run a program: 1. Select the file you want to run. 2. Choose the ellipsis (...) next to the Run command on FileView's Commands menu. FileView displays the Run dialog box. 3. Click on the OK button.
