  Setting Security Features

The Security Options dialog box enables you to authorize
yourself or others to use the X server on your system to
display client applications that are running on other systems.
The options in the dialog allow you to set the access control
scheme used by the local X display server to authorize
access by other users and by local client applications when
  connecting to an X server.

Initially, you are authorized to run applications only from
your workstation, where your current session is running.
This means that you cannot log in to another system and run
applications for display on your workstation monitor unless
you authorize yourself to do so.

For information about the available access control schemes
and how to configure the settings for the local X display
server or DECwindows Motif client applications, double click
on an item from the list of additional topics below.
