Moving the Cursor When you type at the keyboard, the Notepad editor editor inserts text at the position marked by the cursor. To move the cursor to any location in the Notepad editor window, move the pointer to that location and click MB1. Press the right arrow key to move the cursor one space to the right, and the left arrow key to move the cursor one space to the left. Press Shift and the right arrow key to move the cursor one word to the right, and Shift and the left arrow key to move the cursor one space to the left. Press the up arrow key to move the cursor up one line, and the down arrow key to move the cursor down one line. Choose Go to Top from the Navigate menu to move the cursor to the top of the Notepad editor window. Choose Go to Bottom from the Navigate menu to move the cursor to the bottom of the Notepad editor window.
