Removing Drawers from the Main Window

  Choose Remove Drawer From Index...  on the main window's
  Maintenance menu to remove selected drawers from the
  index displayed in the main window or delete drawers
  entirely.

  Removing a drawer from the index does not delete the
  drawer.  You can access the drawer again by adding it with
  Add Drawer to Index...  or Scan Mail Directory for Mail

  Drawers...  on the Maintenance menu.

  Deleting a drawer removes the drawer's name from the
  index and deletes the drawer and its contents.

  You cannot remove or delete an open drawer or the MAIL
  drawer.
