Deleting Objects

  Choose Delete from the Edit menu to delete selected messages.

  The index is updated to show which messages have been
  marked for deletion.  Messages are not actually deleted until
  the folder is closed.  You can reverse the delete operation with

  Undo Move/Delete.  When the folder is closed, the messages
  are deleted.

  Deleted messages are moved to the WASTEBASKET.

  You can retrieve deleted messages by opening the
  WASTEBASKET and moving the message to a folder.
  When the WASTEBASKET is emptied, the messages are
  permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
