Deleting the Currently Displayed Message

  Choose Delete from the Read pop-up menu to delete the
  current message.

  When you delete a message, the message is marked for
  deletion but is not actually deleted until the folder is closed.

  While the folder remains open, you can reverse the operation.

  To retrieve messages, choose the Undo Move/Delete menu
  item from the pop-up menu.

  After the folder is closed the message is deleted.  The message
  can be retrieved only from the WASTEBASKET.
