Changing Mail's Startup State

  The Startup State option lets you choose whether Mail starts
  as a window or as an icon.  The default startup state is
  Window.

  To save the profile settings, click on the OK button, then
  choose Save Settings on the Options Menu.  Changes made to
  the Startup State option do not take effect until you exit and
  reenter Mail.

  Click on Cancel to leave the settings unchanged.
