Mail Window Options Dialog Box

  Choose Window...  from the Options menu to change the
  default settings for the main window style, startup state for
  Mail, and the color of each type of window you work with.
  This includes the main window, Read window, Create-Send
  window, dialog boxes, and message boxes.

  You can choose whether the main window style is Paned,
  Outline, Tree, or Columns.  Outline is the default.

  You can choose whether Mail starts as a window or as an
  icon.  Window is the default.

  If you are using a black and white system, the default for all
  windows is black text on a white background.

  An option is enabled when its button is shaded.  To enable
  or disable an option, click on the corresponding button or its
  label.

  To save the profile settings, click on OK, then choose Save
  Settings on the Options menu.

  Changes to the Startup State option do not take effect until
  you exit and reenter Mail.  If you are changing the Main
  Window Style option to or from Paned style, the changes do
  not take effect until you exit and reenter Mail.

  Click on Cancel to leave the settings unchanged.
