  Audio Buttons

  An audio button appears in the button area if there is audio
  content in the document being displayed. The audio button
  contains an icon that represents a loudspeaker.

  The presence of audio content on a page is indicated by
  another button displayed on the page near the location of the
  audio content. These buttons on the page can obscure the
  other data on the page, so to see all of the rest of the data on
  the page you may want to turn them off. To play the audio
  data you will have to turn them back on.

  Clicking on the audio button in the button area turns on and
  off the displaying of audio buttons on the page. The audio
  button contains one of the following speaker icons:

  *   Solid speaker icon
      The solid speaker icon indicates that there is audio content
      on the current page.

  *   Outline speaker
      The outline speaker icon indicates that there is no audio
      content on the current page.

  *   Crossed-out speaker

      A speaker icon with a cross through it indicates that there
      is audio content on the page, and that the audio content is
      being displayed on the page (a speaker icon on the page
      indicates the location of the audio content on the page).

  To play back a piece of audio content, click on the
  corresponding audio button on the page. To stop the playback.
  click on the audio button again. If you click on another audio
  button while a playback is in progress, the first playback will
  end and playback of the other audio content will begin.
                                Note

      Audio playback requires special hardware and
      software. If you do not hear anything when you click
      on an audio button, select Diagnostic Information...
      from the File menu to see any errors reported.
